This is a message from Ali, the voice of democracy, the man from Iran, the Middle East, and the United States of America (USA).

Today I want to send a warm happy Persian New Year (Norooz) to all the Iranian people in Iran and all over the world from Ali and Ali’s men and women for peace. As years come and go we should never forget where we came from and what our heritage stands for.

I received a lot of e-mails from people that want to know more about Ali and who he is and why he is involved in politics and wants to be the voice of freedom and democracy.

People ask me Ali, who sponsors you and who gives you financial backing and are you a nonprofit organization?

I want to say to all my people, I spend my own money for a cause that I believe in. That cause is freedom, democracy, human rights, equal rights for all my people.

Today I want to answer a personal e-mail I have received from Azita an Iranian college student in America. She asked why our shirts say Ali’s men and Ali’s women for peace Iranians for democracy.

The answer is every movement has a voice. Someone people need to know exists and will fight for their rights and that’s why the shirts say Ali’s men and women for peace Iranians for democracy.

Azita the colors on our shirts stand for freedom and democracy.

Black stands for all the people that have given their lives for freedom and democracy. The white stands for peace that will fallow freedom and equal rights.

The hand is the symbol of democracy. When people vote at the polling stations they dip their index finger in ink and show their pride in the steps toward freedom and democracy.
